2008-06-15 08:32 - Update on Africa

Lots has happened since the last post back on the last week of May. Since that time, here's what happened - saw Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side, saw numerous Zambia waterfalls despite the safari vehicle breaking down in the middle of nowhere, did the classic wildlife safari in Tanzania, saw Murchison Falls in Uganda.

The Top 10 List is sure to change though we're still debating on who gets in and who gets left out... It's a tough argument for sure!

There's still more to go on this trip of a lifetime. Hopefully, things work out and we'll be able to update the website with our observations and stories...

2008-06-25 02:15 - Another Update on Africa

Well we just finished our Kenya Safari and are on our way to Egypt today. No waterfalls in Egypt, but I guess it's fun to say we've been at the source of the Nile in Uganda and now the end of the Nile in Egypt.

Anyways, our waterfalling is pretty much wrapped up for this big trip. Though I did suffer through yet another bout of food poisoning in Kenya, which hampered our Thomson Falls experience.

Also since our last update, we did visit all three of the Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mt Elgon on the Uganda side of Africa's 4th highest mountain (this is shared by Kenya).

Other than that, we're getting a bit homesick while at the same time looking forward to seeing some Egyptian ruins...

Peace...
