TABLE OF CONTENTS
Nevada Waterfalls are about as unlikely as they come. After all, this state is said to be the driest in the United States, which isn't all that surprising considering that the state is dominated by the Great Basin (once part of the sea floor and then once a mighty salt lake later in its history) that includes parts of Southern Idaho as well as Western Utah. Of course, all it takes is a visit to places like Las Vegas, Laughlin, Reno, Carson City, etc. in the Summer months to really appreciate why this state would be the last one in which a legitimate waterfall can be found.
And so it shouldn't come as a surprise that we have only seen one such legitimate waterfall in the state (Kings Canyon Falls
). In fact, in this particular instance, it can be argued that the topology and climate was probably better suited for the Eastern Sierras of California than the far western extreme of Nevada, and perhaps it was just that this lone waterfall so happened to exist within the political boundaries of Nevada when everything else about it screams Sierra Nevadas of California. Obviously, we're keen on timing and making a visit to the state in the hopes of seeing more than just this one waterfall, but we recognize that this is really an exercise in patience and a little luck.

We're very sorry about this, but there's not much we can do about SBI's terrible interface.
