Knyvet Falls is a small waterfall (possibly 5m or less) that is situated further downstream on Pencil Pine Creek from Pencil Pine Falls. Thus, visiting this waterfall should not be without visiting the other waterfall in a short stroll taking about 30 minutes return.
The view of this falls from the overlook is not very satisfactory (as shown above). Although going off trail is prohibited (because you end up tramping on vegetation and erode the topsoil), your best view of the falls requires such a scramble. There are faint unofficial trails leading to various other views of the falls. But I'll appeal to your sense of wilderness ethics to do the right thing. The photo shown below is an example of what you'll get if you do such a thing.
