Nandroya Falls is an attractive multi-tiered 50m waterfall in the Palmerston section of Wooroonooran National Park (near the Atherton Tablelands) between Millaa Millaa and Innisfail. Starting nearby the Henrietta Creek Campground, a circuit track (5.3km return) leads to the falls while passing by the 10m Silver Falls. However, you can cut straight to the falls along a more direct out-and-back trail that leaves from the highway (just west of the turnoff for Henrietta Creek Campground) that's 2.2km each way. We're actually not sure if that other trailhead (not the Henrietta Creek Campground) is a legal place to park the car even though some people were doing it. If not, then you can still park at Henrietta Creek Campground, walk along the highway a short way, then enter the trail through said trailhead. At the time we got there, some construction was being done on a bridge over the creek so that was the only access. Given the high rainfall in the area, expect a bit of humidity and heat as you do this walk despite how well-shady the trail is.
