Glen Aulin Hike (Waterwheel Falls)

I've never been on a hike more than a mile or two, but I found your site and was inspired to go out to Yosemite and do the Waterwheel trek via Glen Aulin from Tuolomne Meadows. I did it in one day as well, and had a great time. The only downer was that my camera acted up in the stretch between Glen Aulin and Waterwheel Falls so I wasn't able to get any photos of that area. Very disappointed. I did manage to get a lot of other shots, though.

Bad Luck with the Camera

Sorry about the camera acting up on your Waterwheel Falls excursion. What a real bummer!

This happened to us on a recent trip to Peru where my EOS 20D pretty much died about half way into the trip. Good thing my wife brought her point-and-shoot camera as backup!

I think those camera problems could be traced all the way back to when we accidentally dunked it in water when trying to cross a stream in Maui during February or March of last year.

Well, at least the camera died prior to our epic trip to Africa and not during that trip. So we were still able to get a replacement, but it sure wasn't cheap!
