Manoa Falls is a very popular waterfall found near the busy Honolulu/Waikiki area just minutes further inland from the University of Hawaii. This thin 55ft (though I've seen some claim it's 160ft tall, which I doubt unless there's hidden tiers not visible from the trail) waterfall used to be a very popular swimming hole, but that is now discouraged as there is a rockfall danger beyond the signed barricades.Still, the pleasant 1.5-mile round trip hike is far enough to keep the casual visitors away and close enough to keep it from becoming an arduous trek. It's a great way to spend a few hours getting away from the urban chaos of the city.
