Puu Ka Ele Falls (or Pu'u Ka Ele Falls) is on private land and only accessibly by helicopter. It has an inviting plunge pool as well as a picnic table near it for those fortunate to frolick at these falls. I think it sits in a side canyon off the Hanalei River Valley though I can't be totally sure. If so, it's one of many waterfalls you might find in this valley (and especially so when they're pumping under wetter conditions than what we saw).UPDATE 1/13/08: I was informed by the Office of Conservation and Coastal Land in Kaua'i of the following regarding this waterfall... The Pu’u Ka Ele Falls tour is no longer offered because our Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands has notified it that the falls may be on State Forest Reserve Lands, thus access is not permitted; and the adjacent landowner also canceled the agreement with Inter-Island Helicopters
