Arbæjarfoss is one of those waterfalls I'm not sure if there's an official way to visit it. The photograph above is the view we got when we didn't think we would be trespassing. Other views require you to go into someone's yard or to go through a graveyard. Even to get the view we got, there was one really scary patch of rocky road full of sharp volcanic rocks. Makes me wonder if you're supposed to drive there or just walk.In any case, the approach we took via a pair of unsigned turnoffs roughly 4km northeast along Route 271, which leaves the Ring Road about 1km north of Hella. Like Ægissufoss, this waterfall is also on the Ytri-Rangá River, which route 271 follows.
