Ketubjörg is actually a 120m cliff in Skagi that supports nesting birds. However, I'm also referring to the waterfall that's here as well, which is one of those rare seaside waterfalls that plunges directly into the ocean (well, almost due to the fallen rocks at its base). During our trip, wildflowers were also blooming on the grassy plateau precariously above the sea cliffs. Though the birds here really added to the scene. From Akureyri, it's about 160km away on route 745. To get to route 745, you'll need to leave the Ring Road at one of several roads between the junctions of Ring Road with route 74 (if you're coming from say Blönduós to the west) and Ring Road with route 75 (if you're coming from say Akureyri to the east). Either of those roads will hook up with route 744, which will hook you up with route 745.
