Saga Trail Waterfalls

Attractive waterfall near the Hliðarendi farm, which is relevant to Njál's Saga





The Saga Trail Waterfalls page is where I've placed waterfalls I couldn't quite categorize or identify by nomenclature. We stumbled upon sites pertaining to the Saga Trail near Hvolsvöllur so that's how I came up with the idea of the name for for this page. The most notable falls in this category was the one near Hliðarendi though I guess you could also count some of the unnamed ones near Gluggafoss in this category as well.

Directions: This page covers the stretch of Route 261 east of Hvolsvöllur and west of the Route 261/250 junction. You can see the Gluggafoss page for directions from the approach coming from the east. Otherwise, take the Ring Road to Hvolsvöllur and approach from the west.
