Visiting falls at right time.
by: Anonymous

Visiting the falls at right time makes the difference. Most of the falls in south asia is full of water only for few weeks. It is the temperature and scarcity of drinking water and power that makes them to be narrow and blocked. 95% of India does not get ice.

You can keep a contracter locally to picture and video when the falls is full of water if you can't visit.

We did visit Jog Falls and it's in our Top 10 Asia Waterfalls List. But in terms of our favorites in the world, it didn't measure up to what was on this list after making our visit there back in November 2009.

Maybe if we're fortunate enough to return and see it when it's flowing better, we might re-consider. I'm sure others have seen it flowing better and feel it should be amongst the world's best, but that's why we've personalized our list (i.e. it's limited to our own experiences) because we can only make judgments on what we've personally seen.
