Fairy Falls is one of the few named waterfalls in Milford Sound. This one falls under the category of what I call the "virtually permanent waterfall." This is due to the fact that it has ephemeral flow (meaning it only takes a few days without rain for this to go dry), but the frequent rainfall in the area keeps it flowing on a nearly consistent basis. There are also two other waterfalls that fall under this category in the Milford Sound - Bridal Veil Falls and Palisade Falls.
If you can identify this waterfall out of the hundreds of waterfalls in the Milford Sound, I congratulate you on your keen sense of observation ;)
