The Franz Josef Glacier Waterfalls are on full display when it rains (as it often does) on the South Island's West Coast. I've created this page to acknowledge the plethora of unnamed falls lining the glacially-scoured valley (note: the singled out waterfalls in the valley that are on this website are: Unser Fritz Falls and Trident Creek Falls.
Of course, the quantity and quality of these waterfalls depends on the rainfall and snowmelt. These are highly variable factors (making them ephemeral) and it might explain why most of these falls are unnamed.
