Karekare Falls

Karekare Falls





Karekare Falls is an attractive 25m waterfall found near Karekare Beach, which was one of the filming locations of the movie "The Piano." The walk to the falls is about 5 minutes from the car park, and there was a picnic table before the plunge pool making for a decent place for both a picnic and maybe even a swim.
