Karekare Falls
Karekare Falls is an attractive 25m waterfall found near Karekare Beach, which was one of the filming locations of the movie "The Piano." Located just minutes away from Kitekite Falls and Piha Beach, they can easily be combined with this attraction for a satisfying day away from Auckland - just about an hour away west of the Waitakere Ranges. The walk to the falls is about 5 minutes from the car park at Karekare Beach.
