Momahaki Falls and Te Tangi-o-Hinerau

Momahaki Falls and Te Tangi-o-Hinerau

The waterfall tandem of Momahaki Falls and Te Tangi-o-Hinerau is attractive in that these falls flow one after the other. The only problem is the view from the Hinerau Track. I reckon you might get better views of this waterfall tandem from the Aniwaniwa Track.

Situated in the pristine Te Urewera National Park, waterfall lovers can rejoice at seeing this waterfall as well as several others while exploring the largest of the remaining tracts of native forest in New Zealand.

This pair of waterfalls is actually part of the larger set of falls known as the Aniwaniwa Falls. Bridal Veil Falls makes up the last of this waterfall trio.
