Piroa Falls
Piroa Falls is a pleasant 20m waterfall situated in the Waipu Gorge Scenic Reserve. It makes for a nice diversion from the neighboring towns or if you're driving between Auckland and the Bay of Islands. This waterfall doesn't get too much publicity, but it is not difficult to visit as it requires a short walk and a little bit of unsealed driving on well-graded gravel road.
