Purakaunui Falls There are several detours off the Southern Scenic Drive leading to the car park for the falls. A short walk of 5-10 minutes leads to a wooden platform allowing you to enjoy the falls (as pictured above). You can also see the falls from its top as the trail pretty much follows its watercourse.
