Tawhai Falls is a tiny 5m waterfall situated in the brown tussock grasslands and beech forest at the lower elevations of Tongariro National Park. You can find this well-signed waterfall as you head towards Whakapapa Village. The short walk affords you views of the falls from both its top as well as its deep plunge pool.
