Te Wairoa Falls is an interesting waterfall seen towards the end of a visit to the Buried Village of Te Wairoa. It is merely a side attraction to the preserved artifacts of Te Wairoa, which was buried in the fatal 1886 Mt Tarawera Eruption. It's a testament to just how unpredictable and merciless nature can be.
