Waiotemarama Falls (meaning "waters of the moon" in Maori) is a petit 5m waterfall on the Kauri Coast. You don't need to do the entire tramp on the longer Waiotemarama Bush Track to see this waterfall. However, it's really more of a waterfall collector's excuse to visit the Kauri Coast, which features quaint seaside towns and the gargantuan Kauri Trees - the main attractions of this part of the North Island. Look for an interesting small waterfall that's worth a look on the way to the main waterfall.
