"Eggefossen" is an informally named waterfall seen along E39 near the community of Egge. To be honest, once I finally figured out how to download the GPS waypoints and tracks from our June/July 2005 trip (this only happened recently while I was overhauling the website in August 2010), I learned that the waterfall on this page was actually further south of the Egge community and closer to Klakegg. Anyways, I made up this name for the waterfall because I couldn't figure out where it was on my topo maps, and just for the purposes of reference, I'll still with this name for now. I'm sure this'll change once I figure out what stream this waterfall was on.
Personally, I wonder how this waterfall can be so unnamed or obscure because it was obviously too major to ignore. But if someone has more accurate info about this particular waterfall, please let us know!
Directions: Julie and I noticed this waterfall as we headed north past the Rv5 and E39 junction en route to Byrkjelo. On my map, it was about 1km north of Klakegg.
