Eikeskogsfossen is a small (by Norwegian standards) waterfall that we saw on the way to the spectacular Månafossen. We happened to be at this waterfall in the late afternoon where we happened to see a little bit of rainbow in the its mist at its base. The view you see on the photo above was from a local road, but we didn't seek out a way to get closer to it.
I suspect the name of this waterfall probably came from the name of the adjacent community of Eikeskog.
Directions: The falls is barely a few minutes (just under 1km) before the Månafossen car park (see directions on its page for more details) so a trip to that waterfall would automatically yield a sighting of this waterfall (if you pay attention). I believe it was about 1.3km (to the left) after a three-way intersection just before the road climbed fairly steeply. There was a little pullout beside the local road to let us get out and check out the falls.
