Eikjelandsfossen (I've also seen it spelled Eikelandsfossen) was one of the more powerful waterfalls we saw while doing the scenic drive encompassing the Førde/Gaular Loop in the so-called Waterfall Country. Even though this waterfall wasn't tall, its powerful flow produced lots of mist making photography a bit tricky while also saturating the ground across its plunge pool (i.e. making it quite muddy).
As for some numbers to back up the adjectives mentioned above, well I learned from my research that the height was 15m while it had a flow rate of about 75 cubic meters/sec in Summer.
From the pullout, cross Road 610 then follow the trail as it descends gently towards the opposite end of the plunge pool across from the base of the waterfall after about 5 or 10 minutes.
Directions: From Sande, head east on Road 610 for roughly 5.7km. There will be a signed pullout to your left as well as a picnic table.
