This is one of many Norwegian waterfalls called Espelandsfossen, but this one is in the Granvin municipality. Look for it in the Espeland Valley (Espelandalen) between Granvin and Ulvik along Rv572.
The photo shown above is the only photo I have of the falls. We were a bit too hasty trying to get to Voss and didn't take the time to find the access road to get closer to the falls. I admit that the photo you see at the top of this page might not even be the correct falls. I'd love to come back here and see the real waterfall on the next trip to Norway.
I easily get this waterfall confused with the waterfall in Odda by the same name. They kind of look similar (at least in theory since we didn't actually see the Granvin waterfall from a similar position) so I could totally see why we wouldn't be the only ones who would be confused.
Directions: From Ulvik, we were supposed to have driven on the Rv572 for about 10km. Then we were supposed to look for a local road leading further inland closer to the falls.
Unfortunately for us, we continued hastily another 2km further west.
