Flakkefossen
As you can see from the photo above, this cascade was attractive because it tumbled towards the Flakksvann (that lake in the distance). Directions: The falls is about a half-hour's drive away from Kristiansand. The way I did it was that I took the E18 roughly 8km east of Kristiansand. Then, I took the Rv405 north eventually merging with Rv41 where the road passed through the town of Bygeland. We stayed on the 41 east of town (avoiding the Rv402) and turned left onto a small road leaving the Rv41 about 1km north of the Rv41/Rv402 merger (I believe there was a "Mosfrell" sign there). That small road quickly reaches a road bridge with a view of Teinefossen. Once past the bridge, I turned left and followed the road into a small community about 1.3km west of the bridge we had just crossed. I then turned right at the fork and followed one of the unsigned roads towards the falls.
