Geisdalsfossen was another one of the waterfalls that caught our attention as we were motoring up Jostedalen in search of glaciers. What made this waterfall different was that it had about four parallel plunging segments. Unlike our Ryfossen experience, at least there was a larger area to try to pull over and get a view of the falls. However, the views were spoiled by wire fences below and power lines above.
I've also seen this waterfall named Geisfossen in Norgesglasset.
Directions: This waterfall was about 27km north of Gaupne along the Rv604.
