Geitaskardet is a series of ephemeral waterfalls tumbling down the cliffs opposite Kvernhusfossen in Modalen. This waterfall is also visible from the idyllic town of Mo, but as you can see from our experience, it really depends on the weather what that viewing experience will be.
Normally, ephemeral falls like this don't garner too much attention from me, but I figured if it was notable enough to be put onto a Statens Kartverk topo map, then the cartographers there must think it's important enough for inclusion. Besides, who am I to disagree with them?
