Geitaskardet is a series of ephemeral waterfalls tumbling down the cliffs opposite Kvernhusfossen. This waterfall is also visible from the idyllic town of Mo, but whether you see the falls or not depends on the weather.
Normally, ephemeral falls like this don't garner too much attention from me, but I figured if it was notable enough to be put onto a Statens Kartverk topo map, then the cartographers there must think it's important enough for inclusion. Besides, who am I to disagree with them?
