Gravdefossen

Gravdefossen fronted by wildflowers and the track for the Rauma Railway

Gravdefossen is another one of the towering named waterfalls in the scenic waterfall-filled Romsdal Valley (Romsdalen). We saw this one was sloping before making one final plunge into the base of the valley near railroad tracks flanked by blooming wildflowers. We only realized this waterfall had a name after the trip when we looked at our GPS points. Otherwise, I'm not so sure we could've easily identified this waterfall from the others in the valley.

Directions: This waterfall sits right across from Døntefossen (right side wall as we were facing north) along the E136.
