Grinddalsfossen

Grinndalsfossen as seen from Geirangerfjorden

Grinddalsfossen is a waterfall you'll see bits and pieces of as you drive through Geiranger on the Rv63. That's because this waterfall is really a very long cascade and since it's on the same sloping terrain that the Geiranger township is on, you can't get a satisfying full view from land. However, your best bet at seeing the falls in its entirety is from a Geiranger Fjord (Geirangerfjorden) Cruise. You might also be able to see part of the waterfall's profile on the
Storsæterfossen (or Storseterfossen) trail.
