Laukelandsfossen is a very attractive and wide waterfall tumbling into the Dals Fjord (Dalsfjorden) across from Rv57 between Førde and Dale. You can get decent views as you're driving along Rv57 though you'll have to take your time to find a suitable pullout so you can get out of your car and take photos of the falls across the fjord.Although this waterfall kind of sits alone in the Førde/Gaular Loop through the so-called Waterfall Country, the Dals Fjord features more pretty scenery to draw you into this detour. Such scenic assets include the shapely mountains of Laukelandshesten and Mt Kringla as well as the wide river waterfall known for good fishing at Osfossen.
