The Osafjorden Waterfalls are basically an array of falls nestled near the quiet rural community of Osa near Ulvik. We kind of took this spur road on a lark but were pleasantly surprised at some of the waterfalls we ended up seeing (even though none of them seemed like they were major waterfalls or anything). Still, I tend to think of the overall experience on this drive rather than trying to single out individual waterfalls.
Below are a few of the photos my wife and I have taken of the waterfalls in the area. We weren't able to identify them on our maps, but they sure were pretty to look at.
Directions: From Eidfjord, we went west on Rv13 towards the ferry. After crossing the ferry across Eidfjorden, we then followed the Rv572 (to the right) for another 10km towards the town of Ulvik. We then continued straight ahead on a narrow county road for another 10km towards the village of Osa.
You're right about the protruding rock that obscures the best views but having trekked there we thought we might try and get a little closer...[more]
