The Oldendalen Waterfalls are a collection of several glacially-fed waterfalls lining the steep walls of the Olden Valley (Oldendalen). We found it quite a challenge to single out (let alone identify) the falls because there were way too many of them.
One of the more prominent waterfalls was Melkevollfossen, though I had trouble identifying it as I had assumed it would be the one with the largest volume, but my maps and travel journal seemed to suggest otherwise. Of course, Volefossen at the head of the valley was the most prominent of these falls, but I'm devoting this page to show you an assortment of the rest of what this valley puts out.
Directions: This page covers waterfalls along the county road in Oldendalen south of Olden and ending at the car park for Briksdalbreen. See the directions for Volefossen or Kleivafossen.
