There are several Tafjorden waterfalls that tumble along its steep walls into the fjord itself. We noticed a couple of them we fairly vigorous flow that very easily could've been major waterfall attractions in their own right. But I guess it's only in Norway where these things can be taken for granted.

Tafjorden had its share of tragedy (not unlike what has happened in Lovatnet). In fact, the cliffs flanking the fjord did its damage wiping out waterfront settlements when tons of rock fell off its vertical cliffs into the fjord creating a tidal wave.
