There are several Tafjorden waterfalls that tumble along its steep walls into the fjord itself. In fact, Tafjord is notorious for wiping out waterfront settlements when tons of rock fell off the vertical cliffs into the fjord creating a tidal wave. It was very much like the way the Lovatnet tragedies took place.
Despite the tragedies, this fjord also sports its own collection of waterfalls. One of them I'd argue is even more spectacular than Muldalsfossen even though it doesn't appear to have a name. There are also a few other notable ones you might find as you drive the county road along the eastern shores of the Tafjord. See the photos below for a taste of what Tafjorden is like.
