In addition to the trio of giant, unregulated falls there are other Utladalen waterfalls that kept us occupied as we explored the Utla Valley (or Utladalen). We've managed to notice a few on the cliff wall across from the Vetti township, but we also saw another river-type waterfall called Hyljefossen (or Høljafossen).
In addition to the falls depicted on this page in the lower parts of Utladalen, there are even more in the more remote sections of the valley further upstream. What makes this valley such a waterfall haven of Jotunheimen National Park is that all the watercourses are protected.
