Rjoandefossen

Rjoandefossen as seen on the road in Flåmsdalen

Rjoandefossen is one of the more conspicuous waterfalls seen on the Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana). This tall 120m waterfall can be seen in various angles from the train. You can also get a different perspective while self-touring the road into Flåmsdalen, where you can see the river that the waterfall feeds (as pictured above).

The Flåm Railway is one of the most scenic trains you can take, and it's worth the admission price even if you're not into trains. The train goes between Flåm and Myrdal for a distance of about 20km. And it provides many options in terms of hiking, biking, or just plain touring.

Below is another photo I took of the waterfall - this one from the train.
