Ryfossen was a rather attractive waterfall that we noticed as we were motoring up Jostedalen in search of glaciers. It kind of caught us off guard, but once we noticed it, we were scrambling to look for a pullout so we could see the waterfall without the stress of being honked at or rear-ended. I think we did manage to find such a pullout, but I wasn't sure it had the best view of the falls. So I guess the best thing to do would be to have a passenger take a photo with high ISO (so minimize blurriness).
Note that I've also seen this waterfall spelled Ryefossen and just Ryfoss (again a characteristic of Norwegian waterfalls with multiple names and spellings).
Directions: We noticed this waterfall while driving north on Rv604 leaving Gaupne. At about 6.5km, that was when we started to notice the falls towering over Jostedøla to our right. But since there were no signs nor an obvious pullout, we just improvised and got what photos that we could.
