Sprutfossen was a bit of a disappointment to us. That was because it was a bit out of the way as we made a lengthy detour from our continued long drive north to far north Norway and because the view of the falls was mostly obstructed. We couldn't find an alternate or better view nor did we find any obvious trails that would've gotten us there. Perhaps we were a bit hasty during our visit, but given the trouble it took to get here, we thought overall it wasn't worth it.
Directions: From Mo I Rana, we headed north on the E6 for about 12km into the town of Skonseng. Then, we left the E6 and headed east on a county road going into Plurdalen (this turnoff is right across from the turnoff for Grønligrotta cave and the glacier Svartisen). is a waterfall that's a bit out of the way from the E6 in the Plurdal Valley (Plurdalen). We followed this road for about a total of 27km, which became unsealed after 17km. I think there was a car park or opening where we saw part of the falls (there was also a sign here).
