Sprutfossen

Sprutfossen in Plurdalen

Sprutfossen is a waterfall that's a bit out of the way from the E6 in the Plurdal Valley (Plurdalen). To get to this waterfall, take the county road east of Skonseng and follow it even as the road becomes unsealed (some 17km later). You'll have to drive an additional 10km or so on the unpaved road.

Personally, this waterfall was disappointing to us because you don't really get a good view from the car park for the trouble you go through to get here. However, we also didn't take the time to explore other options in the area so perhaps there could've been a better view of the falls than the one photographed above. But I'll leave that for the interested visitor to find out.

Tell us about your experience with this waterfall.
