Storulfossen (perhaps more popularly known as Bruresløret or the Bridal Veil) is an attractive 20m year-round waterfall situated in the scenic highland moors of Rondane National Park. The excursion to this waterfall was memorable to me because I found myself hiking within a highland plateau where this falls all of the sudden seemed to have appeared from out of the blue. This contrasted mightily with other waterfalls we had been seeing in Norway instead of being surrounded my towering mountains or deep river canyons.During our visit, we were quite surprised at the number of cars that were parked at the rather remote car park at Spranget (see directions below). However, it turned out that most of the people went hiking and I found myself to be the only one that I was aware of visiting the falls at the time (Julie stayed in the car). The trail that I took wasn't the most straightforward route (the signs weren't all that clear that this waterfall was even here). I any case, I took one of the trails going north from the car park until I eventually hit a river. Then, I followed a trail along the river to my left (west). Eventually, the trail hooked back towards the south and I made it to the waterfall. By the way, that river that I followed was the Ula River. It took me about 45 minutes round trip to do the hike, but I took a much shorter more direct way back to the car park without having to follow the river most of the way. I'm sure there might have been other better ways to do this hike from the trailhead or from other trailheads. Directions: From the Rv15/E6 junction in the bustling town of Otta, I headed south on E6 for about 650m. Then, I took the turnoff on the left leading to Mysusæter and Rondane National Park. Following this road for about 11km to Mysusæter, the road became unpaved as I got close to Mysusæter. Once at Mysusæter, I continued taking the road east until the road forked at a 3-way intersection. I went left (north) at this intersection and then turned right at the next major turnoff, which was a toll road with a self help money box and manual barricade. At about 2km past the barricade, my map indicated there was a trailhead for Storulfossen (Bruresløret), but I somehow missed it. So I continued until the end of the road where there was a large car park at Spranget. Thus, I took a slightly longer but relatively easy-to-follow trail to the falls from this starting point.

Had I seen this Spranget sign at the start, I probably could've saved another 15 minutes of hiking time
