Sunndalen Waterfalls

Waterfalls coming down like veins in Sunndalen

Sunndalen Waterfalls were quite plentiful as we passed through Sunndal Valley (Sunndalen). We were simply overwhelmed by the number of tall quality waterfalls parading down the valley in succession. It was something that wasn't mentioned during our pre-trip research (or perhaps we didn't appreciate) until we were blown away by the spectacle we saw in person.

And just when we thought we had enough of waterfalls here, we saw another one that we felt compelled to stop for. Julie thought they were "a dime a dozen" and she was probably right.

Anyhow, I've devoted this page to give you an idea of what we saw. Chances are you'll see much more than we're leading on here.

Directions: The stretch of road where these waterfalls appear was along Rv70 between Sunndalsøra and Oppdal.
