Vermafossen was our favorite of the Romsdal Waterfalls. From the viewing angles that we were able to get, this waterfall almost seemed to resemble a giant pitchfork, which really made it stand out given such a unique shape. And as you can see from the buildings in the photos, this waterfall was also quite big and powerful.
I can't corroborate this since we didn't do it this way, but I heard the Rauma Railway (Raumabana) actually slows down or stops for this waterfall.
Directions: We found this waterfall on the left side wall (facing east) as we headed about 3km north of the conspicuous turnoff for Slettafossen (which we're using as a landmark since it's so well-signed) along the E136.
