Waterfalls of Alaska Alaska Waterfalls I'm sure are abundant given its rainy climate (it's said to rain about 300 days out of the year in much of the southeast part of the state). However, given the wild and ruggedness of this harsh and unforgiving yet bountiful land, it's going to take work, a lot of money, and/or a lot of preparation to visit them. So given this humble sampling of waterfalls, we hope to return here without the restriction of a cruise and perhaps see what other surprises Nature has in store for us.
