Toketee Falls

I took these pictures of Toketee falls, on our trip to southern Oregon.

My wife and I with our dog Heidi, visited this beautiful water fall in Douglas county Oregon, between Roseburg and Crater Lake. I have not traveled the world, but this one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever visited.

When we traveled to Toketee Falls
by: Roger

We visited this water fall the later part of June this year, 2011. The trail was in good shape. We visited several other water falls in the area and in northern California.

This has been a good year for waterfalls in the Cascades because of all the snow they received last winter. The melt off has been moderate, so no real floods.

Crater lake had 53 feet of snow on the lake last winter, acording to the Ranger. The average is 44 ft.

We Missed This One...

Hi Roger,

When did you visit this waterfall?

Julie and I were there in August 2009 and the trail was closed due to storm damage from some hard winters the previous couple of years according to the closure signs.

Do you know if they've re-opened the trail since?
