"Cathedral Lake Falls"

View of the roadside waterfall from a pullout just before Pywiack Dome

"Cathedral Lake Falls" is a name I made up for this easy-to-miss waterfall on the Tioga Road just before the Pywiack Dome. It doesn't look like it's accessible by normal means so I settled for this somewhat poor photo of it. It looks like it drains Cathedral Lake, which is why I made up this name for the falls. Nonetheless, the jagged Cathedral Peak makes a nice backdrop to the falls. Perhaps one of these days, I'll go back and see if there's a safe way to access the falls - whether it's by the Cathedral Lake Trail or by a scramble off the Tioga Road...
