"Tamarack Creek Falls" is the unofficial name I'm using for the cascade that tumbles alongside the Upper Cascades. To my knowledge, it doesn't have an official name, which is why I'm using quotes. All I know is that Tamarack Creek makes a rather dramatic tumble before joining with Cascade Creek below the Big Oak Flat Road.
Directions: You can view the spectacle during the peak snowmelt in April and May at the pullout signposted B3. The scene is especially memorable when you leave the last tunnel headed to Yosemite Valley along the Big Oak Flat Road!
