Kauai Waterfalls
This Kauai Waterfalls page showcases our humble sampling of the waterfalls on the island of Kaua’i (also known as the Garden Island) known for getting lots of rain. Of all the Hawaiian Islands, we tend to associate Kauai with being the Nature Isle so we have partaken in waterfall hikes as well as easy-to-visit ones requiring little or no effort to experience.
As you can see from the map at the top of this page, the waterfalls are a little more spread out than the other Hawaiian Islands, but they still tend to cluster about the northeast side of the island (i.e. the windward side). This in turn tells you which side of the island tends to be drier and which side tends to be wetter. Such information should help you figure out your accommodation options to take advantage of this phenomenon.
As for the Kauai Waterfalls themselves, we definitely experienced some quality waterfalls that have appeared on our Top 10 Best Hawaii Waterfalls List. Find out which ones made it by clicking on the link!
And like all of our other waterfall write-ups, we share information concerning our personal experiences, including driving directions, pictures, videos, nearby attractions and more. So have a look below and see if you can benefit from our shared knowledge in your own trip planning to Kaua’i.
