Maine Waterfalls were spread out in the extreme northeastern reaches of the Continental United States. We only have a humble sampling of the waterfalls to show for our efforts as many of them required a bit of a drive and/or hike in some pretty remote and far flung parts of the state far removed from large tracts of “civilization”.
While we were fortunate to visit some of Maine’s non-waterfalling charms like the lighthouses, it was the state’s waterfalls that really made us explore the real draw of the state – its Nature! As you can see from the waterfall map above, we have a lot more to explore when it comes to the Maine Waterfalls so in the mean time, have a look at what we do have.
From what we’ve been able to share (from detailed waterfall descriptions, driving directions to get to them, maps, etc.), we hope that you might find the information useful for your own exploration or trip planning needs…
