The South Carolina Waterfalls page is all about the waterfalls that we visited in the state of South Carolina. In order to find the waterfalls, we had to go “upcountry” in the state’s northwest, which you might notice in the waterfall map above. After all, that was where the mountains of the Appalachian Range were within the state’s borders. 

In addition to the waterfalls, we were able to experience them with beautiful Autumn colors. So our waterfall survey here just so happened to have lots of reds, oranges, and yellows mixed in with the bright whites of the falling water itself.

Given that we have a pretty limited survey of South Carolina Waterfalls, I’m sure there’s a lot more waterfalling to do in the state. So we’ll be sure to find more opportunities to do just that, but in the mean time, have a look at what we have so far…
