Most of the Wisconsin Waterfalls that we managed to visit were concentrated in the state’s far north near Lake Superior, which you might notice in the waterfall map above. That said, there were definitely areas where we got to experience some of the state’s surprising natural beauty, and most of them involved pursuing waterfalls.

While our pre-conceived notions of the state of Wisconsin were largely associated with football (i.e. the Green Bay Packers) and baseball (i.e. the Milwaukee Brewers), once again our waterfalling excursions allowed us to experience the more natural aspects of the land and the people who reside in it. I’m sure the state will surprise us in more ways as we look forward to doing more visits to the Badger state.
