South Australia Waterfalls
The South Australia Waterfalls (SA) page focuses on a state that we didn’t really think would have many waterfalls (if any). But with a little pre-trip research and a visit, we were pleasantly surprised to have been able to visit a few of them.
For a state that was better known for wineries, festivals (it was apparently known as the “Festival State” after all), and Kangaroo Island, the waterfalls were really excuses for us to go where not many tourists tended to go. Using the state’s capital city of Adelaide as a base, we were surprised at how close these attractions (including the waterfalls) were!
As you can see in the waterfall map above, we have a very humble sampling of South Australia Waterfalls. I’m sure there might be more in the state, but this is the driest state in the country so it might be difficult to find the rest. In the mean time, have a look at this page and explore the state for its waterfalls where they might pleasantly surprise you as well!
