Wainui Falls is a 20m waterfall on the Wainui River that we experienced on a 3.4km return walk in the sunny Abel Tasman National Park near Nelson, New Zealand.

Maruia Falls is an easy-to-see 9-11m waterfall on the Maruia River said to have grown 8m after the Murchison Earthquake in 1929 in New Zealand’s South Island.
